How Delivery Works at Restos XXL

We partner with a small network of trusted couriers who know the Capitole, Saint-Cyprien, and Carmes routes well. Orders placed before 11:30 AM arrive by 1:00 PM; evening orders are delivered between 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM. Delivery is limited to a 6 km radius from the city center, and we do not offer pickup at the office.

How Our Delivery Notes Work

A few clarifications on what we mean by delivery, what we cover, and what we do not. Read this before planning your order.

Delivery AreaWe cover the Toulouse city center, including Capitole, Saint-Cyprien, and the Carmes district. Suburbs and outlying areas are not included in our standard delivery radius.
Order WindowOrders are accepted between 11:30 and 21:30, seven days a week. Late-night orders after 22:00 are only available from selected street food partners near Capitole.
Preparation TimeMost dishes are prepared to order, so expect 20 to 35 minutes before dispatch. Cassoulet and duck confit dishes may take longer due to slow cooking methods.
Delivery FeeFees are calculated by distance and shown before checkout. Orders above a certain value qualify for reduced fees, but we do not offer free delivery on a permanent basis.
PackagingWe use recyclable containers that keep food warm and prevent leaks. Hot liquids like soups and sauces are sealed separately to avoid spills during transit.
Allergen NotesAllergen information is provided by each restaurant and listed on the product page. We recommend checking the details before ordering if you have specific dietary requirements.

How Delivery Works

From the moment you place an order to the moment it lands on your table, here is the full timeline of our delivery process. We keep it transparent so you know exactly what to expect at each step.

Order Confirmation

Once you submit your order through our partners page, we confirm availability within 15 minutes. If a dish is out of season or unavailable, we suggest a local alternative from the same kitchen.

Kitchen Prep Window

Your meal is prepared after the order is confirmed, not before. Expect 20 to 35 minutes of cooking time depending on the restaurant and the complexity of the dish. Cassoulet takes longer than a sandwich, and we do not rush it.

Rider Pickup

Our couriers pick up directly from the kitchen counter, not from a waiting shelf. This keeps the food hot and reduces the chance of mix-ups. You receive a notification the moment the rider leaves the restaurant.

On the Road

Delivery time depends on your distance from the restaurant and the traffic around Capitole, Saint-Cyprien, or the Carmes district. Most orders arrive within 25 to 40 minutes after pickup. We do not promise impossible times.

Drop-off and Check

The rider leaves the order at your door or hands it to you directly, depending on your preference. We ask you to check the packaging for any visible damage before the rider leaves, so we can resolve issues immediately.

Follow-up and Feedback

Within an hour of delivery, we send a short follow-up asking about the temperature, portion size, and overall experience. Your feedback goes straight to the restaurant kitchen, not just to a customer service folder.
